Mick’s passion for engine building started at just 16, beginning his apprenticeship as a mechanic in a local Williamstown workshop. From early on, he developed a strong mechanical foundation before stepping into a specialised engine shop in 2005—where his focus shifted fully to performance engines.

With years of hands-on experience, Mick specialises in engine teardowns, precision rebuilds, performance upgrades, and extracting maximum power from a wide range of engine platforms. His work is driven by a commitment to performance, reliability, and doing the job right the first time.

A true enthusiast of anything that puts power to the wheels, Mick’s journey naturally led him into drag racing. Working alongside high-performance builds and competitive teams gave him direct exposure to some of the most powerful engines in the country.

For the past six years, Mick has been a pit crew member in the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series in Victoria. He is also recognised as the go-to engine specialist on Resto My Ride, bringing his expertise to a national audience.
